At a time when Australians are looking to save money more than ever, Coles is offering a smart way to get more for their money by offering customers 10% off select Coles Mastercard gift cards.
This money-saving hack will help customers save on upcoming purchases – from groceries, household bills, gas, office supplies, restaurants – with the offer helping to lower the price of anything that may be purchased with a Mastercard.
The discount offers customers endless opportunities to maximize their savings, with the most common use of the Coles Mastercard being weekly groceries (58%), followed by utility and utility bills.
Starting Wednesday, June 15, for one week only, Coles customers can redeem a $100 or $250 gift card and receive 10% off the transaction total, which includes applicable purchase fees.
Customers can pick up a $250 Coles Mastercard gift card, which has a $7 purchase fee, for just $231.30, leaving an extra $18.70 in their pocket.
Coles customers can also purchase a $100 Coles Mastercard gift card, with a $5 purchase fee per card, for $94.50 with the 10% cashback, a savings of $5.50.
There is a limit of five gift cards per customer, which means customers can save up to $93.50 by purchasing five $250 gift cards.
Coles non-food general manager Jonathan Torr said the limited-time offer allows customers to take advantage of an opportunity to save money when they need it most.
“We understand that many Australians are feeling the pinch of rising cost of living pressures and we are always looking for ways to provide the best value at Coles to help make a difference,” said Jonathan.
“The 10% off select Coles Mastercards will provide temporary relief on day-to-day spending, as the gift cards can be used on anything from the weekly shop to paying household bills – they can even be used to maximize savings at other retailers during end-of-year sales.
10% off the $100 Coles Mastercard and $250 Coles Mastercard Gift Card are available for a limited time only at Coles supermarkets until Tuesday, June 21, while supplies last.
