French Montana launches initiative to help music professionals struggling with addiction

Rap star French Montana is doing his part to eradicate the scourge of drug addiction through a new partnership with the Guardian Recovery Network.

Through this partnership, French and GRN have launched NAQI Healthcare, which will offer detoxification services at home and in private accommodation.

Currently, French targets clients in Florida, New York, Texas and California. However, the rap star hopes to expand the partnership with NAQI Healthcare in the near future.

“When I lost my good friend Mac Miller to addiction, it was devastating to all of us. I just wish he had services like NAQI before it’s too late,” French Montana shared. .

Clients struggling with addiction will receive a treatment team and medical and clinical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the best place for them.

French and the Guardian Recovery Network team believe that NAQI Healthcare will help achieve favorable outcomes for those who have not been able to receive personal care for their addiction in the past.

“I’ve seen a lot of us artists struggle. The music industry is no joke, it lifts a lot of us up, but it can tear you down just as quickly,” French Montana said.

The partnership with Guardian Recovery Network is in line with the continuity of French Montana’s mission in the field of health.

After the rap star traveled to Uganda in 2017 to shoot the music video for his single “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee, French saw firsthand the struggles locals face with healthcare.

French eventually teamed up with the Mama Hope Foundation and Global Citizen and opened the Suubi “Hope” Maternity Center to help serve more than 300,000 people in need of healthcare services in Uganda.

French, Montana and NAQI Healthcare are working on an annual music fundraising event to donate 100% of proceeds to create scholarships for people in need of mental health and addiction treatment nationwide.
