Coins.ph reactivates cash transactions through one of the more than 3,000 7-Eleven branches in the Philippines. The move is intended to provide a widely accessible and convenient option for customers who prefer an over-the-counter instant withdrawal option nearby.

Through this collaboration, over 15 million Coins.ph customers can add funds to their wallet in real time through 7-Eleven in three ways. The first is through the Coins.ph Wallet app, where customers can generate a 7-Connect barcode that they will present to the cashier to scan and make a payment.

Customers can also use the CLiQQ in-store kiosk to generate a barcode to present to the cashier and make a payment. This option works best for customers who don’t have mobile data or who don’t bring their phone to the store. Meanwhile, customers who have the CLiQQ mobile app can use its ‘Add Electronic Money’ option and present the generated barcode to any 7-Eleven cashier for payment.

“In the same way that 7-Eleven meets the daily needs of people through goods sold and services rendered in our branches, Coins.ph also offers financial services for day-to-day transactions such as buying loads, payment of bills, etc. The return of this cash partnership is a joint effort to continually find ways to provide the best service to our customers, ”said Jose Victor Paterno, President and CEO of Philippine Seven Corporation.

This partnership is aligned with Coins.ph’s mission to increase financial inclusion across Southeast Asia and supports the company’s ongoing efforts to make wallet services more accessible to both banked and unbanked people. .

“There is always a 7-Eleven store just around the corner. With its extensive nationwide network, it helps customers have an accessible way to fund their Coins.ph account. The goal of Coins.ph is to provide financial access and inclusion to communities across the country. We are continually adding new services within Coins.ph to help Filipinos transact easily using their phone as a wallet, ”said Nauman Mustafa, CEO of Coins.ph.

Regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Coins.ph offers customers direct and secure access to digital financial services, including prepaid charging for Filipino and international mobile numbers, bill payments, local and international remittances, buying game credits, shopping online, and even buying and selling virtual assets anytime, anywhere. It is free to create an account via the Coins.ph site or by downloading the application from google play or the App Store.

Besides the ease of making daily transactions with just a few clicks on their phone, customers verified by Coins.ph can enjoy rewards and other perks. The company also plans to launch other partnerships in the coming months to provide better services to consumers.

All cashout transactions through 7-Eleven are subject to a minimum partner fee equal to 2% of the transaction amount for the maintenance of the service. Coins.ph is reminding customers to be alert to their region’s quarantine restrictions to keep them safe amid the pandemic.
